ACTIVITY

"Govern properly" (2013)

In following our key principle “To live and work in a sustainable manner“, the KAB has produced a wide range of publications. The publication “Govern properly“, that came out in 2013, deals with financial questions of taxation, i.e. its contribution to the “common fund“ in order to support social solidarity. Moreover, the publication also tries to formulate general strategies for economic- and taxation policies.

POLICY PROPOSAL

Minimum level of taxation of enterprises, property, inheritance and capital yield

Targeted Institutions:
European Commission, European Parliament, Council of the EU

The KAB calls on the EU to harmonise taxation policy in Europe. This should include a harmonised minimum level of taxation of enterprises, property, inheritance and capital yield. In the taxation policy we need a more centralised approach instead of a variety of national policies.
